Classroom Programs
Throughout the school year, we work with teachers and students to create a safe environment for all children to be accepted for who they are. This makes school fun and exciting...and a great place to be!
Character Counts
This program teaches children how to have good character and attitudes and to always do the right thing...even when no one is watching.
We do fun activities that teach the students how to work together and respect each other’s differences.
Character Traits We Emphasize Are….
Acceptance
Kindness
Compassion
Generosity
Respect
Honesty
Responsibility
~
Anti-Bullying / Avoiding Mean Behavior
We teach children how to react in a situation of bullying, who to talk to if they are bullied,
what it means to be bullied, and how it feels to be bullied.
~
Bucket Fillers / Showing Kindness
Students are rewarded for behavior that is kind, encouraging, and helpful in the school and in the classroom.
Each time a child shows these special behavior characteristics, he/she puts a ball in their classroom bucket. The classroom
that fills the most buckets with balls is treated to a pizza party in December.
~
Anti-Drug Classes
Teaching children at a young age to say “NO” to drugs helps them grow with the knowledge that saying “NO” can be good.
We give kids the tools to use against drugs...starting from a young age on through adulthood.
